A Memorable Sacramento Tour

Sac Town is known for its Mediterranean climate. This climate is dominated by mild temperature with warm days and very few freezing nights in winter. This climate is ideal for the presence of large acres country side, far from the downtown mayhem. The best time for tourists is late spring, when there is lot of sunshine, with a pleasant temperature that is low on humidity.

The tourist hotspots that will give a great start to your stay in Sacramento are described here in brief.

You can explore Sacramento’s unique history dating back to the days of ‘Gold Rush’ at the Sutter’s Fort Historic Park located in the heart of the city. This place gives a peek into the life of gold miners and the early settlers in Sac Town. This place also features a history museum, resorted fort and lush green walking trails.

The city’s neighborhood has beautiful Victorian houses that engulf the city under their charm. The heart of the Gold Rush era neighborhood is the Visitor’s Center that offers free guided tours to visitors. The complete history of California’s governors is incorporated in the architecturally stunning California State Capitol Building.

Sac Town has the state’s best art exposure. Every alley is filled with creations of talented artists from the local, regional and international art forums. The art galleries of the city are open until late evening on the second Saturday of each month. These art galleries have art works that are a feast to the eyes. The Fairytale Town has stories from Robin Hood, King Arthur’s Castle and Mr. McGregor’s Garden. This is a beautiful theme park stretched over 25 acres of land, a perfect place for the kids to sweat out under the warm sun.

Sac Town’s country side offers a perfect afternoon. The southern region of the Sacramento River is the state’s largest fishing area. This is the place where California’s largest rainbow trout can be caught.

Your Sac Town trip is not complete without visiting the vineyards around the city. These vineyards are filled with different types of wine grapes and many wineries. A day spent in the vineyards and the winery museums is filled with a lot of fun and a unique learning experience on the different wine making methods. This is the one place where you are offered more wine than you can actually drink. The vineyard tour is made memorable by the city’s limo service. You can book a limo in advance to get the best service in town.

Sacramento is a fun filled cosmopolitan city that is packed with culture, arts, history and learning experiences. You can explore the country side on foot, located at short distances from the hotels in downtown. The spacious accommodations and luxurious amenities contribute to make your vocation simple, affordable and memorable.
